Hi All,

Well it seems to be a common occurrence to get the site back online all the time so my plans are to build another site. And perhaps another forum!!

Whats your thoughts????

Thats what the Aussiecoupes site had to do.Divided the guys who set it up against the others who knew it had to change before it was all lost.

Is there a use by/expiry date?Has the Grandtourer site survived?Could they be combined?

Leave the forum as it is but if building a new main site cures the problem of the main site going down every 12 months then do it.
Just need a volunteer to put in hours and hours of effort.... :D

What is exactly the problem?

I know you don't own the domain fairmontgt.com can you transfer it?

If not just copy the current forum over to a new domain.

Give us the actual details and we will offer some advice. I've worked in IT for over 15 years.

Jeff thanks mate when I get 5 mins spare will catch up. We need that beer as well bro!!!

The problem is that Chris has the domain license etc I'm cool with that but get annoyed when I cant get hold of him to get it sorted for everyone!!
I mean there may come a day when I cant get hold of him then all will be lost I don't want that!!!

Well you've done all the work mate the technical aspect is letting you down. Passing it onto another person is not the answer same problem different picnic.

You need to get the name transferred into your name.

Catch up needed my car is being stripped as we speak.
