I have been making good progress with the GT since getting it back from the panel shop, I just dont get enough time to finish up everything.

Here is a before and after pic. Sorry for the dirty bumper full of fingerprints etc on the new photo, but after working the whole day I was so tired I decided that cleaning up can wait. Cleaning, stripping and painting all the parts before they go back takes forever!

I've only put the door panels back - waiting do to the carpets before I put the rest back.

But its all original and nearly flawless, cant wait to get it all done.

Im trying to finish up the engine bay so I can put the engine in, here are some pics of parts I cleaned and painted today. I usually dont take pics as it only wastes time, but today was a public holiday here! I see the pics are in reverse order.

Here are some pics of the engine going in, took a shitload of time to properly clean and respray the engine. Also a picture of the trunk - still need to clean up some overspray in the trunk on on of the tubes.

Looking Great Tiaan. Are you painting the tailights up & rear strip as per original??
I think the GT is looking sensational.

Boxy, Im still in 2 minds about painting that strip. It has been chromed so Im afraid to paint over it because I dont want it to peel later on.

I will do the correct stripes in the lights still.
